This tomb can be seen in the background of the above photographs.

In memory of HUGH, 4th son of the Revd. J. Fraser, Surgeon of the 60th Regiment, the Royal Rifle Corps
Who having served his country in many lands - died at Syndenham, Kent on the 23rd October 1865 in the 72nd year of his age.
He is buried within this enclosure.
ANDREW, 5th son who served in 45th Regt. M.N.I., from 1812 to 1432 when he retired, and was made Honorary Lieut. Col., in 1854
He served in the Advocate Generals Department and on retiring was for a time in the 2nd Lanarkshire Militia
Died at Guernsey 19th September 1884 aged 83 years.



This stone also commemorates their eldest son Pringle (son of The Revd' John and Mrs. Jane Fraser, nee Smith),
Captain in the service of the Honourable East India Company in the 7th Regiment, M.N.I.
He died 21st July 1820 aged 33 years at Secunderabad, where his mortal remains repose, far from his native village.



Patrick Fraser, M.D., born at Liberton Manse 6th March 1805, died at Stoke D'Abernon, Cobham, Surrey 12th November 1896
Husband of Martha Maria Fraser. Formerly Physician to the Queen of Portugal, Knight of the Tower and Sword,
Holder of the Crimean Medal and Sebastopol Clasp and the Turkish War Medal for service as Staff Surgeon to the British Army in the Crimea
And Physician to the London Hospital.
