University of Edinburgh Roll of Honour 1914 -1919

A hardback edition comprising of nearly 800 pages, this book gives brief pen portraits (and some photographs) of those who fell from the University.
It also gives the service records of nearly all of those students who served in some capacity during the Great War.

I have a copy and am willing to do any look-ups.

Is this the one available as a reprint from Naval and Military Press?

I think it might be. N&MP reprinted it in two volumes and no doubt the photographs are much better quality in the original.

A worthwhile book to own, in my opinion.

This book is now available to download for free from the Internet Archive.

For that price (i.e. nothing!) I recommend you get a copy!

I have tried the link a few times and just get various errors. Does anyone else get it to work?

I was able to view the book online until a couple of days ago. Now it is just errors showing.
Has anyone actually downloaded it onto their computer and could sent me it. If that is an option?

I have managed to download it as a PDF file today. If anyone wants it and is unable to download it, PM me your name and address and I will put a CD in the post. It is too big for a mail attachment.

Here is the URL for the book. I find the easiest method is to right click on the PDF download and use the "save target as" method.

Scotland's War has taken over from Edinburgh's War but it seems the EU RoH is no longer available.
