Born 27th July 1880. Baptised in this church 12th September.
Killed in action near the Aisne 25th September 1914.
Erected by his eldest brother Donald, on the eve of his departure for the war.

Captain Allan George Cameron was born on 27 July 1880. He was the son of Donald Cameron of Lochiel, 24th Chief of Clan Cameron and Lady Margaret Elizabeth Montagu Douglas Scott. He married Hester Vere Fraser-Tytler, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Grant Fraser-Tytler of Aldourie, on 6 October 1908. He died on 26 September 1914 at age 34, killed in action.

Captain Allan George Cameron was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England. He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England. He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.

His brother who erected this memorial was Cameron of Lochiel who raised the 5th, 6th and 7th Service battalions of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders in 1914.
