I was in the Grammar School this afternoon and managed to take a few photos of their Roll of Honour 1939-1945. I will download the photos and add the servicemens details over next few days (hopefully!)

The Roll of Honour is hand written and framed in a wooden frame. It can be found on the wall in the foyer of the Grammar School. The lighting was quite bright so I took some with a flash and some without. I will post the better ones here.

(With flash)

Top half of the names. (without flash)

Bottom half of names. (without flash)

The last six names must have been added after the original list. The last six are alphabetical so I assume they were added at the same time. For some reason it doesn't give their rank or when they were at the school.

They must have been expecting to add extra names when the scroll was first made though. Perhaps experience from the First World War made them leave a space since more names would always turn up later?
