Now that we have been running for nearly two years there is a little of bit of forum administration to be done.

For example there are some threads out there where we need photographs. We may not have photographs of the name panels or even of the memorial itself. We may need up to date photographs as well.

Other threads might not have a location, Ordnance Survey reference or a UKNIWM entry.

We will also start adding unveiling details so if they haven’t been posted we’ll list them here.

There will probably be other things needing some attention which I haven’t thought of but will be listed here too.

We will start making up a list here covering all this area’s memorials, civic, church, regimental etc. If we come across something that will need actioned the Mods. can add it to this list. If you see something that needs updated please post in this thread and we can update the list.

1. Attempt to find out the background of the very early erection/dedication of the Ardler Memorial. In context of possibly the first 'Great War' community memorial to be erected in Scotland this would be important.

2. Find out where the Blairgowrie Parish Church Great War Memorial Window went when the church closed.

3. Locate the Dowally Church Roll of Honour which is apparently stored in the Chapter House Museum, Dunkeld.

4. Locate Dunkeeld Higher Grade School Great War Memorial (Within Royal School of Dunkeld ?)

5. Photograph 51st Highland Divison Tapestry and Women's Service Plaque at St. John's Kirk, Perth.

6. Locate/Photograph Tullibardine War Memorial Fountain.

7. Enquire as to the background of the 1914-18 Cairn in Glen Almond at the former Stuck Chapel.

8. Photograph Great War Veterans houses/Plaques in Blairgowrie.

9. Close-ups of Kinnoull Church railings/gates (WW2 Memorial)

10. Enqs. re. stored memorials at Perth Museum.

11. Enqs. re. Alexander Macduff Memorial Hall, Scone.

The Tullibardine Memorial Drinking Fountain is, according to Anne's Scotsman spreadsheet, near Tullibardine Station.

Good luck!

I'm probably just being stupid, so I'll ask anyway!

Where's Perth WW2 memorial? Is it on the forum?
