The Dinnet War Memorial is in a memorial area next to what was until 2005 the Dinnet Kirk but now is a dwellinghouse . It is just off the main roads ( A93 ) and ( B 976 ) .
Well maintained memorial

Hi Anne
William Watt was my Great Uncle, brother of my Grandfather, James Watt. I am still trying to find out exactly where he was killed. The Gordon Highlanders Museum have no record of his death. They say that his Company wasn't even in action that day. I would appreciate any information that you may be able to give me.
Kindest regards
Iain Watt |
