Cathkin Braes Golf Club, founded in 1888, is the second oldest golf club in the Clyde Valley, and is the oldest that is still on its original site. www.cathkinbraesgolfclub.co.uk
The WW1 & WW2 War Memorials are situated on the wall outside the main entrance.
The WW1 Memorial plaque is inscribed as follows:

That's an interesting Great war memorial. It looked like he was doffing his cap but he his holding a lurel wreath. A nice golf themed memorial.

Unveiled on Saturday 25th March 1922.
(Glasgow Herald 27th March 1922)
"In the clubhouse of Cathkin Braes Golf Club on Saturday afternoon Mr Adam K. Rodger, M.P., unveiled the bronze memorial tablet erected there to the memory of the 19 members who fell in the war. The Rev. John Smart, Carmunnock Parish Church, performed the dedication ceremony."

It's a shame there wasn't a bit more detail about where the memorial came from. It gives a date though so it might be easier to track down the details in local papers or the club's own paperwork.
