At 11. on 11.11.11. was standing in silence behind R/Cross which placed on a 'family type cwgc grave'; then moved to place second cross - both in Penpont Churchyard. Next travelled over to Morton Cemtery and placed 9 R/Crosses on the family cwgc graves; then travelled onto Closeburn Churchyard for 1 family cwgc grave and finished with l on family cwgc grave in Closeburn Cemtery. On 10.11.11 placed 4 R/Cross in Glencairn Churchyard, 1 on offical cwgc grave and 3 on family cwgc graves; then onto Dunscore to place 3 crosses on cwgc graves. The Legion does not provide cross for these graves; so I buy and place each year (since 2009)
On 12.11.11 was at Glencairn Memorial Institute, with war display on Glencairn and Nithsdale; as 90th Anniv. opened the Glencairn War Institute in Moniaive on 7.12.1921; ( Special day with celebrations on 11.11.11.) various display from 10.0-4.0.
On 13.11.11. at home and observed silence at 11.
