The Dundee advertiser of Monday 5th July 1920 reports that Kirkcaldy Town Council has given a handsome memorial parchment to the relatives of each of the 900 inhabitants who died in the war.
I wonder if any still survive-perhaps in Kirkcaldy Museum or Archives?

The Dundee Advertiser of Tuesday 6th July 1920 reports that the previous day the Rev Janet A Paterson dedicated a memorial flag,a gift from the staff and pupils of the school,in memory of the ex pupils who died in the war.
As it was flown from the flagpole at the school it seems unlikely that it has survived-again it may be in Fife Council`s care?
