Located just north of Corriecravie, Arran O.S. NR913236. situated at the top of a small rise above a set of swings and car parking area.

Son of Robert and Elizabeth Agnes Martin, of Whithorn, Wigtownshire.

The Iron Rock Ledges mentioned is an area of rock which lie just under the surface going a good half mile out to sea, the outer edge is marked by a navigation buoy and at very low tide the rock ledges can be seen above the surface.

The memorial was erected in 1997 by a niece with an additional dedication added by other family members in 1998 at the bottom.
