Thanks to the office staff at Biggar High School for allowing the memorials to be photographed.

The memorials are mounted on the wall in the entrance to the School. They are fairly high on the wall so close ups were not really possible.

Corporal Robert Brunton died of Broncho-Pneumonia. He was "Admitted to Hospital (Toronto General Hospital) November 1st.18, suffering from Influenza. On November 7th. he developed definite signs of bronco-pneumonia and was very ill. Given 50 ccs. of convalescent Influenza serum. but showed no improvement, His circulation failed rapidly and he died November 11.1918."
