Hi my names James Brown.
I study the Great War especially Ayrshire's role.
I research the names on the war memorials around Ayrshire.
This is a great project you have here. i have seen it back and forth for a few years now, so i decided to join.
Ill contribute when I can.
Thanks
James Brown

Hi James and welcome.

I have done a bit of work in Ayrshire myself, particularly along the coast and south of Ayr.

Much to be done though and many church and school memorials to be tracked down and posted on this forum.

Thanks for the welcome. I hope and can add to this great project. I've dipped into the site a few times over the years. Time to give something back.

Hi Anne

Meant to say I can access MIC's, Service records, Pension records where they survive. DCM, MM and MC medal citations.
I have access to a few other things like RND records and shipping records if anyone needs access.

Regards
JB
