I managed to get enough of their records (including burials) to get them added to CWGC's database a couple of years ago.

Good work everyone, nice to see stones now erected.
It's a shame that as the person who located these tow names that you weren't informed of this ceremony, Anne. I think it only fitting that you should have been there. |

I must admit I was a teeny bit miffed.
Not at the thought of gaining any credit - I'm not interested in that, but just to see those two men's final resting place being properly recognised would have been lovely.
Still, onward and upwards. I'll have to be more vigilant as there's another stone about to be erected in Drymen any day now!
