Under the church at Beauzencourt is a complex of caves used to house troops. Soldiers scratched their names and units on the walls. Here is one Pte McAlpine of the HLI made:
Going by the Regt Number, this may be his grave at Woburn Abbey Cemetary, Cuinchy
