UKNIWM Ref: 44375
Location is Castle Douglas Parish Church at OS Map Ref: NX 765 622.
This is the first individual memorial for a non-combat death that I have seen. I am listing it for two reasons; firstly it is listed by UKNIWM and secondly he will be included on the Armed Forces Memorial which means that he died on duty or as a result of terrorist action.
