|
|
As a matter of interest I recently dropped into Kinnettles to photograph the War Memorial whilst returning from Forfar.
I popped down to the parish church but works were underway and I assumed the building was being converted into a private house.
I did a bit of digging and indeed a planning application, which was approved, to convert the church to a private dwelling was lodged with Angus council in early 2006.
Please see this link which describes two Great War memorial windows within the building which contain the names of 10 fallen, paid for by the women of Kinnettles.

According to the planning application the war memorial windows and a marble plaque (war related?) must be left within the building.
Although I'm concentrating on Perthshire I may communicate with those concerned to try and get a photo before completion of works (if I can manage!!) |
