Battle of Sheriffmuir Memorial, 1715
OS Ref: NN 815 018
This memorial cairn is beside a small road on a hill at the back of Dunblane
It is fairly recent and sits beside the much grander Clan MacRae memorial which will be posted in its own thread.

I take it this field on the other side of the road is the site of the battle? The OS map shows it as being round the corner near the Inn
It is a fairly bleak location but is on the route from Perth to Stirling. At this point you are only a few miles from Stirling above Dunblane and Bridge of Allan.
