Trinity House War Memorial, Leith
Location: Trinity House, Kirkgate, Leith
OS Ref: NT 269 760
The Trinity House memorial is a stained glass window. unfortunately for us it is a private memorial in the ownership of Historic Scotland and I cannot post my photographs of it here for copyright reasons. There was no sign up to say I couldn't take photos and it was a custodian who told me after I'd already taken some.
I'm sure there will be no problems with posting the following images though.
Trinity House
What the window shows
A roll of honour of the Great War Trinity House, Leith dead. I couldn't get a good image of this so I took a few from different angles. That is what alerted the HS custodian to my photography. I'll post a transription of the names later.
A shot showing it's location in relation to the window
The window was rededicated after the Second World War although no mention has been made of that on the winow or on the information board.
