Hi from Perth of the Scottish variety!
Stumbled across the site whilst generally browsing for interesting images in Google. Not really got a huge interest in War Memorials, but as I get older I seem more attracted to photographing them, so thought I might as well add my pic's here instead of leting them gather virtual dust on my hard drive.
I prefer those memorials with figures and whilst this is a Scottish forum and my all time favourite memorial (with a little bias) is the Commando Memorial, Spean Bridge, I was absolutely overwhelmed by the Animals In War Memorial, London on my last visit to London.

All the best and I'll have a trawl through my images and see what is fit for posting and keep my eyes and camera open!
Aye!

Welcome to the forum, we’re here for anyone with any type of interest in war memorials even if that interest is only in photographing statues and nothing else. Your photos will be most welcome. I have only had the chance for a quick look at the Spean Bridge ones and they look great. I look forward to seeing some of your others.
Kind regards
