Not listed on UKNIWM
Located on in the parish of Tongland on Kirkconnel Moor about 2 miles NW of Ringford near Loch Mannoch at OS Map Ref NX 667 598.
This is a monument to five covenanter martyrs. I have yet to visit the memorial myself but I believe the detailed inscriptions are quite difficult to read.
The monument is in a copse of trees on the hill behind Kirkconnel Farm and commemorates; John Bell from Anwoth, David Halliday from Balmaghie, Robert Lennox from Girthon, Andrew McRobert from Twynholm and James Clement. James Clement is buried at the site and has his own memorial stone nearby.
