Some time ago now, Ken Morrison and I helped Dalbeattie Primary School start up their war memorial research.

As I usually do, I gave various talks in Carsphairn, Kells and Dalry schools and this was published in the Galloway News on 20 Nov 2014

Well done Paul (and Ken) for engaging with the next generation and helping them to appreciate the relevance of remembrance.
On another tack: I well remember Dalbeattie Primary School; we used to caravan in the park below the school during term time. The children were always well-behaved going through the caravan park at the beginning and end of the school day. |
