I was visiting the community hub in Peebles a few weeks ago. It is based in the former Ex-Serviceman's Club. They have a Charity Shop that is open for part of the week and, while browsing, I glanced through the glass firedoors to the stairwell. On the wall there there is a large wooden memorial to those lost in the Boer War. I didn't have a camera, so no pic I'm afraid.
