a friend of mine Fraser Mitchell visited this old church and churchyard and found the 2 war memorials within the premises .

Alvie & Insh Parish church - Church of Scotland :

War memorial :

Alvie & Insh followed by the following wording:

To the Glory of God and in Loving and Grateful Memory of the men in this Parish who gave their lives in the World War 1939-1945

James CLARK - William DUFF

Donald KENNEDY - William KENNEDY

Donald McDONALD - Andrew ROBERTSON

John ROSS - Arthur SIMS

Alexander WILSON .

" As Dying and Behold we Live "

it seems that the church is open to the public during the summer months and has a number of retired officers of the Black watch and Cameron & Gordon Hdrs graves within the graveyard .

These men are also listed on the Kincraig War Memorial.

Between the two memorials the full names, ranks and units are identified.

Thanks
