Lt Commander W N Waller.

Lt Commander Wilfred Nevill Waller's Sea Fury plane, which was heading from Donibristle air base to Crail, burst into flames when approaching East Wemyss. At the cost of his own life, he steered the craft away from the village and crash-landed to the north.
