A member of the Bowling Club has collected and collated a lot of information about the history of the Club. The information is contained within a dozen albums; the following photograph was taken from volume 1.



May 1915
This photograph, taken behind the lines in France shows a typical
group of eight Glasgow Highlanders, six of whom were Club Members.

Of the eight, it appears that two were killed shortly after the photo was taken.

At the end of each year a financial report and a summary of the year report was produced.
During the years 1939 -1945 the report included the names of those serving in the forces and also those who died on service.
