Lothians & Border Horse War Memorial
Location: In front of Dunbar Parish Church gates
OS Ref: NT 681 786

This memorial lists the Boer War dead of the L&BH but also commemorates their service in both World Wars. L&BH Rolls of Honour for those conflicts are held in the Parish church behind the memorial.

Trooper Charles Ralston Peddie Waddell, should be Trooper George Ralston Peddie-Waddell

He is also listed on Falkirk Boer War Memorial and Stirling Boer War Memorial as well as his Family Memorial in Slamannan Churchyard and another Memorial in the village of Slamannan.

An old hand coloured postcard of the memorial posted in 1916. Not much has changed.
