This memorial is listed as DORNOCK PARISH COLUMN and has the reference:
UKNIWM Ref: 44122.
OS Map Ref: NY240663
(edit by spoons - Revised OS Ref (by GPS) NY 24018 66287)

The memorial is on the very western extremity of Eastriggs village on the B721 and is possibly half way between Eastriggs and Dornock.

This Wm was ordered on 19/11/1919 by J.M. Latimer, Sec, Dornock, Eastriggs, Dumfriesshire, on Beattie & Co Log Book No 2959, cost of £226/10/- with etxra charge of building steps by J.G. Harkness and another labour of £6.13/6d. Erected 28/9/1920.
Information from Beattie & Co log book, collected in July 2010.
