The bronze ones will be the North Leith United Free Church, Coburg Street war memorial. The Scotsman of 8th November 1920 describes the church's memorial being unveiled on 6th November 1920 by Mrs Callender, Inverard, and being of 2 bronze mural tablets with 24 names. (Inverard may be the house in Inverleith rather than the place in the Trossachs)

Thanks to Shona for all the work in identifyng the names. I will rename this thread and create a new one for the still unknown memorial.

Thanks

Adam

Thanks to Andrew Grant for passing on these photographs

The North Leith UF Church Coburg Street was renamed the Harper Memorial Church in 1929. It later merged with Leith St Ninian's Church and the Coburg Street church building located opposite the old North Leith burial ground was later demolished.

Thanks

Adam
