UKNIWM Ref No 44204

Current location is St John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, Moffat at OS Map Ref NT 086 051. The window was previously in the chapel of St Ninian's School (now Dowding House), just a couple of hundred yards away. It was removed from the chapel in November 1987 when the school was sold and the chapel was to be demolished. The window was placed in a storeroom in the church at this time.
Some years later (1990s?) the entire end wall of the church was rebuilt in order to accommodate the window. No mean feat!
The brass plaque is in the entrance way and the window is at the far end of the church behind the altar.

He attended Loretto School and they have a Boer War memorial so he may be listed there too.
