I assume the orphanage is no more as this plaque is contained in a glass display case in the refurbished McManus Galleries in Dundee, sharing space with items as diverse as a stuffed carrier pigeon and a desert pattern combat suit worn by a Corporal of The Black Watch in Iraq

Not surprisingly there are no family details for Private Cant on the CWGC database
