The original location for this plaque is unknown. Robin's father, William Dykes Loudon, was a solicitor in Hamilton, and it is thought the plaque might have come from Muirhall, the headquarters of the 6th Scottish Rifles, which was sited at the corner of Muir Street and Almada Street.

It is currently on display in Low Parks Museum in Hamilton as part of the "Lanarkshire's War 100 Years On" exhibition.
