Maxwell Parish Church merged with Gartsherrie and Dunbeth Churches in the mid-1990s. The then-formed St Andrews Church now meet in the old Gartsherrie Church Building. Maxwell Church was sold and has been redeveloped for flats. The memorial for Maxwell Church is now in a "chapel of rest" behind the main church.
This is a memorial quite close to my heart, as Maxwell Church was where my father was Minister for nearly twenty years. It's also named after Adam Maxwell, who was an ancestor of my mothers.
(Incidentally, I also have a relative on the Gartsherrie plaques. John M Gray is a distant relative of my mother)
