The memorial to the Royal Naval Division is located on the northwest corner of Horseguards Parade in London. It was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

It was originally unveiled by Winston Churchill on 25th April 1925, and on the outbreak of World War 2 it was dismantled and placed in storage to allow a bunker to be built next to the Admiralty building. It was then installed in 1951 at the Royal Naval College at Greenwich.

It was then restored to Horseguards Parade in 2003.

The inscription could do with a little restoration work as it is quite faded now.

Interesting to see the badges of the army regiments who served in the RND.
I think I can make out the Royal Irish Regiment, Royal Dublin Fusiliers and is that the Shorpshire Light Infantry (with the horn)?
The RAMC is there and, at the bottom, the MGC. Is there another behind the wreath?
Any offers on the others???

That's the RSF's grenade on the right isn't it? I'm sure theirs had a large flame.

Might be the Royal Fusiliers, I think several of the London based battalions served in the Division, but.....
I'm fairly sure that the left-most badge is the Bedfordshire Regt.
