Very beautiful Roll of Honour containing the same 22 names as appear on the Civic Memorial albeit with slight spelling changes.
Church also contains 2 standard ROHs for Tealing(hidden away in the upper disused gallery)-one containing 54 names and the other 41.
Will post pics soon.

I have posted the picture in the thread created by Hugh. I am not sure whether this is a church memorial or simply the names of the men on the civic monument replicated on a roll of honour. Can't quite make out the 'badge' in the centre of the scroll.

Dundee Advertiser Monday 27th June 1921

MURROES CHURCH TRIBUTE TO THE FALLEN

An impressive service was held in Murroes Parish Church yesterday, when a memorial to those who fell in the war was unveiled in presence of a large congregation. The memorial is the work of the minster,Rev WA Forbes, and is beautifully executed. The unveiling was performed by Mrs Brand, who lost three sons in the war.An address and dedication prayer were delivered by Rev J Nicoll, formerly minister of the parish.Mr Anderson, organist, played the Dead March in "Saul".The communion table was covered in many beautiful wreaths, kindly gifted by relatives and friends.
