On Sunday 24th October 1920 a brass tablet mounted on a slab and placed in the entrance vestibule of the Kirkcaldy Post Office was unveiled by the Postmaster,DS Abbey,and dedicated by the Rev Dr Campbell,Kirkcaldy Parish Church.
"Erected by Kirkcaldy & District Post Office staff to the lasting memory of dear colleagues who sacrificed their lives in the great war 1914-1918
Pte FC Bristowe,Leading Seaman F Heales,Sapper RJS Minto,Pte Andrew Morgan(of head office),Trooper R Jeliffe(Buckhaven) and Rifleman T Turnbull(Burntisland)"
Can anyone locally based find this memorial? |

Well reminded I took photos but was in a rush and due to sunlight not very good. Will try again. Memorial is in Kirkcaldy Delivery Office, Forth Avenue.
