I am doing some research on the Clackmannan County Cricket Club WW1 war memorial.

I have hit a brick wall with three names and cannot pin them down. Birth, Death etc

John MacFarlane (Think it is John)
R W Marshall
D Reid

Thanks for getting back to me. I have managed to sort out David Reid who as you say was in Canadian Machine Gun Corps.

I think i have found R W Marshall who i think was Robert Wilson Marshall of Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.

MacFarlane is a puzzler. I think it is John but could be James. Not listed in the Alloa roll of honour and i can't find him playing for Clackmannan in 1912-1914
