I met John Hutson's daughter today. Reverend Maureen Duncan was officiating at the Remembrance Day service in New Abbey. John Finlay Blair who is also on this memorial was her uncle.

She mentioned that both men are also on a church memorial, I think in Portobello.

I left her with details of the forum.

Restoration work was carried out on this memorial in 2017 with a grant from WMT. The memorial features on the front cover of WMT's Bulletin for August 2020.

The bronze plaques on this memorial were cast by Charles Laing and Sons Ltd of Beaverbank Place, Edinburgh.
