The parish church is now abandoned and boarded up. The parish war memorial is situated outside its entrance.

Regiment/Service: Royal Flying Corps and Rifle Brigade
Grave Reference:
Cemetery: KINFAUNS PARISH CHURCHYARD
Additional Information: Son of Dr. James Gray Flowerdew Lowson, Ph.D., of Quarwood, Stow-on-the-Wold, Glos. Educated at Winchester School and Sandhurst.

The ashes of this casualty were originally interred in the family vault, in 1926 they were removed and placed in the church wall behind the tablet in memory of this officer.
