I'm looking for a photograph of an "unknown soldiers" grave. The one that says "A Soldier of The Great War".
I want to include an image in my HBOS Roll for the men I can't identify and I thought this would be a good image to use.
Does anyone have a shot of a single one of these graves?
Thanks in advance,
David |

Not quite what you were after, but this is a local puzzle. This grave is in Dumfries High Cemetery and no-one knows the story. How did a soldier come to be unknown in Dumfries?
And surely if he was known to be a soldier of the great war he should have had a CWGC stone?
