OS map ref: NT601142
Commemorative memorial plaque unveiled on Sclaterford Bridge, near Bonchester Bridge, by Hawick Archaeological Society in 1903.
The original plaque was badly weathered and removed to Hawick museum in 2006 and replaced with this new stone.
It commemorates a skirmish between the Scots and English in the months after the slaughter at Flodden.
