UKNIWM Ref: 44462
This memorial is now located in the Tarff and Twynholm Parish church in Twynholm at OS Map Ref NX 664 542. This was originally in the Tarff Parish church (now a private residence since it closed in 1988) at OS Map Ref NX 683 562. There is a photo of the former Tarff church below.
There is no Great War memorial for the Tarff Parishioners at Twynholm and one of the locals told me that there were originall two windows in Tarff church containing names and the Church of Scotland moved these to Edinburgh where they are on display (not known where) but I think they are not listed on UKNIWM. A google search failed to find them, does anyone know where they might be?
The names are exactly the same as the WW2 panel of the Ringford (Tongland) memorial.
