Now that we have been running for nearly two years there is a little of bit of forum administration to be done.
For example there are some threads out there where we need photographs. We may not have photographs of the name panels or even of the memorial itself. We may need up to date photographs as well.
Other threads might not have a location, Ordnance Survey reference or a UKNIWM entry.
We will also start adding unveiling details so if they haven’t been posted we’ll list them here.
There will probably be other things needing some attention which I haven’t thought of but will be listed here too.
We will start making up a list here covering all this area’s memorials, civic, church, regimental etc. If we come across something that will need actioned the Mods. can add it to this list. If you see something that needs updated please post in this thread and we can update the list. |

Thanks to Rev J Hopewell for information.
Inverness West Church has a stained glass window which is a war memorial. The church has been converted into flats but the memorial has been transferred to Inshes.
Duncansburgh Church, Inverness also has stained glass window war memorial. |

I noticed a link showing various WM pictures including Kilmallie. I don't see Kilmallie listed or is it under another name? |

The 2 WMs that I can see in the Highlands list that are in Kilmallie parish are Fort William and Corpach & Banavie.
See http://www.kilmallie.net/picture/number178.asp
That image stated on the postcard title as Kilmallie War Memorial is the one listed here as Corpach & Banavie.

The Gairloch memorial appears to be WW1 only, do we know of a WW2 memorial for this area?
can the thread title be adjusted to show this please.

I have added WW1 to the title although there may have not been any names to add.
