Address
PARISH CHURCHYARD
KIRKTON OF CLATT
ABERDEENSHIRE
SCOTLAND
OS Map Ref: NJ 539 260
The memorial at Clatt is an example of the workmanship of Robert Warrack Morrison whilst working for Morren & Co, Holland St, Aberdeen
Below is the WW2 memorial set into the gable wall of Clatt Parish Kirk. Due to fears about the plaque's future, when the kirk was abandoned as a regular place of worship some years ago, these name were added to the WW1 memorial. The Clatt Auld Kirk is now owned by a local trust and it's future secured. Thus the plaque remains in place, the WW2 casualties being commemorated twice.
