The Salmon Bothy is inviting people to bring along your stories, memorabilia, photographs, memories of WWII in Portsoy over Easter, to be included in a May Day Exhibition upstairs at the Salmon Bothy. Reminisce with a cup of tea and a home-bake - available between 11 – 3pm at the weekend
Talk on Sunday 2nd May at 2pm.

More importantly than that though our top poster Anne Park is stealing Dr Clark's thunder and giving her own talk on the Saturday about her research and the project for the Bothy Family History Group.
It's the same venue since the Bothy family History Group are based at the Portsoy Salmon Bothy and it is at 2pm on 1st May
http://www.salmonbothy.org.uk/familyhistory.html
Anne Park active member of the Aberdeen and North East Family History Society will provide an illustrated and interactive talk on the Scottish War Memorials Project. She has been involved in compiling a detailed database of war casualties which can be used to further family history research. She covers WW1 and WW2 and has invited participants to come with information of their own family history searches that have lead them to either of the World Wars.
"Scottish War Memorials Project - Bring your own research and contribute!"
If any members are in that area a week on Saturday please go along and support Anne and spread the word!
Thanks
