UKNIWM Ref: 44355
This memorial is to be found in Balmaghie Church at OS Map Ref NX 723 663
From the wording on the roll of honour, it seems clear that no lives were lost in WW2. For the WW1 memorial, please see my comments on Bridgestone (Balmaghie) memorial at http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=464

Flying Officer James Johnstone is shown on CWGC as from Lauriston but is not listed here. He is however listed on the memorial at his birthplace of Barr in Ayrshire. |
