Cheers Stuart - now sure that it's him.
Born as James Murray Ireland 2 March 1886 at Bridge of Dee, Balmaghie.
Mother Euphemia Ireland. Father later officially registered as James Cowan Murray of Marle St. Castle Douglas.
Euphemia married George Wilson in Balmaghie in 1888. _________________ Ken |

James M Ireland is listed on the Rhonehouse School Roll of Honour.

Although in Kelton Parish, this would have been the nearest school to Bridge of Dee and a number of other men of Balmaghie Parish are listed here.
Perhaps unusually, James is not mentioned on his step-father and mother's grave in Balmaghie Parish Churchyard. _________________ Ken |
