J B Salmond snr was my late father's Uncle . Arbroathians of course . ( J B Salmond Jnr ( an officer in the Black Watch in WW1 ) my father's cousin was a historian writing on Wade and 51st Highland Div in WW2 )
The two books have an excellent content .
