Memorial is inside Dalton Parish Church at OS Map Ref: NY 115 740
Not listed on UKNIWM.
See also the memorial for Flora Murray's brother, Captain Fergus Murray, in the same church which I have posted separately. The other posting also show's plaques for their parents.
Presumably the reason that this is not listed on UKNIWM is that Flora did not die as a result of war although her record is obviously crying out to be commemorated. Somebody should make a film about such women (Elsie Inglis etc) or have they done so, and I missed it?

This is now listed as memorial 71691 on the WMR (ex UKNIWM). Thanks for pointing this out. |
