Another event at Wigtown's Spring Festival.
Date: Sunday 4 May

Location: Beltie Books, Bank Street, Wigtown
Cost: Free
Christine Ashworth will tell how her father, a native of Mull, was captured by the Nazis along with hundreds of other members of the Highland 51st Division having defended the beaches to allow British Forces to escape at Dunkirk in WW2. She tells his story and that of other family members through her writing. |
