I have to give a 20 minute lecture soon on Glasgow at war for a Rememberance day awareness for a group of school kids, I'm looking for facts and figures in relation to amounts of people who inlisted from Glasgow and amounts of those who died or where injured.
anyone help with info or a website covering such facts and figures |

According to the Cenotaph in Glasgow of the total of nearly 900,000 men who enlisted in the First World War Glasgow raised over 200,000.
That seems rather high... |
